 | Chevalier Carol is an NPC found within The Super Store.
He guards the entrance doors and prevents the player character from leaving before they are strong enough.
He is also the NPC that gives the player character their starter weapon, a baseball bat, at the beginning of the story.
APPEARANCE: Chevalier Carol is human in appearance. He is average height for his time period (5'6) and muscular but has a feminine appearance. He has long, golden hair, striking red eyes, and pale skin. He wears a long, blue, corseted, cold-shoulder half-gown, a silver pauldron on his left shoulder, and a blue cape under the pauldron. He carries a silver shortsword embedded with a blood-red gem and also carries a red mysterious book.
PERSONALITY: Chevalier Carol is known to be generally friendly, but values justice above all. He is studious, disciplined, and brave. He strives to maintain safety and peace in the Super Store. He is usually agreeable, but sometimes struggles socially in the modern age of the Super Store and can be headstrong and opinionated.
If the player character's relationship scale with Chevalier Carol falls to Hated (via the player character committing immoral acts), Chevalier Carol will enact justice upon them the next time he sees them.
SCHEDULE: Chevalier Carol follows a specific schedule. He will always return to his spawn point at night.
- From 6 AM to 9 PM, he will roam every section, starting from the closest to his spawn point and ending at the furthest.
- From 9 PM to 6 AM, he can be found in front of the entrance doors, guarding them closely.
GIFTS: Chevalier Carol will accept gifts.
ORIGIN: Chevalier Carol's origin is known.
He was once a French knight and celebrity who was often present in the noble court in the mid 1700s. He was admired by the population for his passionate and just deeds, where he would advocate for the people using his hard-earned higher status. He earned his celebrity status through dueling and his unique choice of fashion. He had several rivals in court, including a foreign diplomat who disliked his attitude towards the common people and attempted an assasination attempt on him. During a fierce and throttling thunderstorm, the diplomat sent a secret servant to poison Chevalier Carol's wine, and before he could take a sip, lightning struck the ballroom, and he suddenly found himself in the Super Store.
